THE PROSPECT OF LIFELONG LEARNING....
The concept of lifelong learning is heavily contested, as it can be defined in a number of ways and applied to a range of specific situations, such as the link of economy, or more broadly defined to incorporate all aspects of learning within an individuals life, wherever this be located and whatever it may be applied to.
E-journal in PTSL (Perpustakaan Tun Seri Lanang) is electronic software that gave the opportunity to the student of UKM to search and get information about the journal they want without using traditional search. I have been given a task to make a conduct search on one of the topics that have been given to me. There are, Prospects of Lifelong Learning, The Applications of ICT in Language Learning and E-Learning for Language Studies using three online databases subscribed by TSL. When I used this electronic software I found it is so difficult for me to attach the E-Journal. The system was too slow and always the page cannot be displayed. After I tried for a couple of time, finally I can open the page. This situation not only faced by me, but also almost among my friends.
From the EBCOhost, there is a lot of links including Academic Search Elite, Business Source Premier, Eric, Health Business Fulltext Elite, MAS Ultra School Edition, Medline, Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection and MAS Ultra - Public Library Edition. First of all, I tried login to ERIC.com. Even though it’s not easy to enter the website, but I tried for a couple of time. When I entered the website, I look for the article entitled Prospects of Lifelong Learning. From there, I found there is a lot of article that nearly connected to the title. I also downloaded the article
Then I use another journal article entitled Emerald Fulltext. From this text, I found it is more easy to get the articles but unluckily, the articles are not connected to the title according to the task that given to me.
While I tried to look another article from the e-Journal portal, there was another person come and need to use the computer and gave him. So, my search was end from there…..

My own opinion about Blogger (Web- based Computer Application)
Since I used this kind of electronic learning, I found that it’s really interesting not only by myself but also to my friends. In the beginning, I found it’s not an easy work to manage this kind of Web-based Computer Application since I learn and try to manage it by myself. When I have my account at the Blogger successfully, I learned one by one and step by step from the way of customizing my Blogger to the way how to publish my own essays according to the title of assessment that have been given to me.
From this level, finally I realize that there are many efforts to myself because from this Web-based Computer Application I can write anything and published them to the internet without any disturbances. Also, it’s gave me the opportunity to say what I would not say in tutorial. For examples, I can publish anything about myself and my own opinion. Besides that, there is a section for the reader to write their comments about anything that I’ve published. As a result, it’s actually can build up my writing from the comments.
After that, I went to my friend’s blogger. From that’s action, I found its really fun an enjoy to read their Blogs. I also found that there was a lot of things we can do or attached to our blogs. We actually can put a background images, songs, videos and links with various types of design according what kind of customization we want to apply in our blogs.
From all that I have mention, I can conclude an recognize that this brand new learning gave me new priceless experience in learning using Web-based Computer Application because honestly, I mention that I have never been exposed with anything like this before.

The occurrences and uses of concordance; a program that looks into each word class in detail and lists in-sequential alphabets as a whole.
CONCORDANCE and its use in the language learning is actually a software that is developed for analyzing language data. Concordance program can help us to find and list down a certain word that you want from a single text or from any short essays or stories. The occurrences of article ‘a’, the prepositions ‘about’ and ‘above’ and also noun- ‘absence’ and ‘Adam’ are right the below;
The occurrence of the article ‘a’ are in three position. ‘a’ are in the position of a noun phrase, adverbial phrase and adverbial clause. As we can see, the article ‘a’ is found to occur either in pre and post- modifier of a noun phrase or simply put, these words occur in attributive position of a noun phrase .There are a few examples that we could found from the list which is ‘a pang of agony’, ‘a word of blame’ and ‘a dreary winter’. Besides that, we also can see the article ‘a’ occurrences in adverbial phrases and clauses for example ‘in a drowsy tone’, ‘for a minute or two’, ‘at a pretty quick pace’, ‘with a blow’, and also ‘in a strange kind of vivid dream’.
In addition, we also discovered that the article ‘a’ can also be able to change a word which is a verb into a noun. We can observe this transformation in the following noun phrases- ‘a look’, ‘a blow’, ‘a shot’, ‘a cry’, and ‘a fall’. All the words after the article ‘a’ are actually verbs, but they are transformed into nouns after addition of the article ‘a’.
Next, ‘a’ in the noun phrases, adverbial phrases and adverbial clauses in some of the complete sentences analyzed. In some part of the noun phrase, the article ‘a’ can play as a subject complement. For example, the noun phrase like (‘I suppose I was a clever lad’ and ‘I sat at a pretty quick pace’). It also can function as an object for example, (‘I plucked up a brave heart’) and also can function as adverbials of manner in adverbial phrases and clauses (‘I could not reply for a minute or two’, ‘I said, in a drowsy tone’, ‘at a pretty quick pace’, and ‘I might greet her with a blow’).
Then, the function of the preposition ‘about’. For example, the preposition are used to denote ‘on the topic of subject of’.‘Who told me all this about my poor mother’, ‘did not often think about him’, ‘many voices about me’ are the examples that we can give from the list. Besides that, the prepositions that is been added to the phrasal verbs functions as adverbs, and we can the examples like ‘I tried to move about’, ‘feared that, in moving about…’, ‘when all were running about in wild alarm’. They are also used to explain something which is not certain like ‘When I was about sixteen’, ‘by the road, but only about four’, and ‘an errand to a place about seven miles’.
Lastly, the function of ‘above’ which is to denote ‘higher on a scale of measuring’. For instance, ‘not above half-an-hour’s walk from…’, ‘might not be above his comprehension’. There are examples that we can see where the word ‘absence’ can act as a noun and as an adjectives . In the samples given from the list, ‘absence’ acts as a noun and adjective while ‘Adam’ act as nouns respectively. the differences and similarities of sms , e-mail and chat languages
Technology become more important and flexible nowadays. Almost in every day, there are new technologies was made up for public users. The main purpose is to make our life become more easier and faster in term to be a modern citizen. For examples, technology in sms, email and chat language. There are differenties and also similarities between these three kinds of technology.Short Message Service (SMS) is a service available on most digital mobile phones, other mobile devices (e.g. a Pocket PC, or occasionally even desktop computers) and some fixed phones, that permits the sending of short messages between mobile phones, other handheld devices and even landline telephones.Email means electronic mail (abbreviated "e-mail" or, often, "email") is a store and forward method of composing, sending, storing, and receiving messages over electronic communication systems. The term "e-mail" (as a noun or verb) applies both to the Internet e-mail system based on the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and to intranet systems allowing users within one organization to e-mail each other. Often these workgroup collaboration organizations may use the Internet protocols for internal e-mail service.Chat is a casual conversation, or commonly called as gossips
There is many similarities than differences between these three kind of technology.There are similarities between sms, email and chat language because its commonly written in spontaneously by the writer or the sender.these situation happen because its written the same with what came across the mind.As a result, there are a lot of word being used in broken language writing. Commonly its happen caused by the teenager because they just want to do anything as fast as possible as soon as the receiver can understand what the information that they want to upload or send.
Next, most of the user also using unformal language means that they just want to send what they want to send as everybody or anyone can underestand. There will be a lot of short forms will be used especially in the SMS language. A lot of grammatical error being used, but actually people today can accept this situation.Bewsides that, there are also a lot of code switching vbeing used in term of easy to manage, easy to understand and saving their time.
While the differences between these three categoies of technology are the emoticons and smiley.This emoticon and smiley only being used in emails and in chat. It is because there is a lot of space and bigger in memory to manage information with the emoticon and the smiley.The purpose in using the emoticon is to show the feeling or situation that the sender or writer to the receiver witout using any word to show it. While its contrast in sms and chat.sms and chat only can send the message without the enoticon or smiley because ther sre not funtion or being set to do it.
As a conclusion, there will be another kind or latest technology will be invented and introduce. Maybe, there will be no more emails, sms or chat and changed with we only speak it up or just using our instinct. This is just only in my opinion but,nobody will know what could or would happen in the future.
